Every Veendo store starts with a default domain (yourname.veendo.it). When you're ready, activate a custom domain through the integrated domain management — no infrastructure costs.
Two types of domain
Every Veendo tenant always has a platform domain (yourname.veendo.it) — immutable and serves as a fallback. Optionally, you can connect a custom domain (e.g. shop.yourcompany.com) via the Domain panel in Setup. Both point to your store; customers see the custom one while you manage both from the back office.
- Platform domain: yourname.veendo.it (included, immutable)
- Custom domain: shop.yourcompany.com (optional, configurable)
- Both active simultaneously — custom domain is the public-facing one
- DNS management is integrated with step-by-step instructions for your DNS provider
How to activate a custom domain
Go to Setup → Domain. Click "Add custom domain" and enter your domain (e.g. shop.acme.com). Veendo generates DNS records (TXT or CNAME) for you to add in your DNS provider (Cloudflare, AWS Route53, GoDaddy, etc.). Once added, Veendo verifies and activates it in real time. No waiting, no slow provisioning.
You'll get detailed instructions for the most common providers right in the panel.
If you use Cloudflare or a provider that supports CNAME flattening, verification is even faster.
SSL certificates and HTTPS
Everything is HTTPS by default. Veendo uses wildcard certificates managed by Vercel, so you never worry about renewals or expiry. Your custom domain is protected from day one.
