Veendo supports up to 14 storefront languages (ar, de, el, en, es, fr, it, ja, ko, pl, pt, ru, tr, zh-CN) and 6 admin languages (en, it, de, es, fr, pt). Every market has a configurable currency.
Supported languages
Your store can serve up to 14 languages simultaneously. Italian is included in the setup wizard; for each additional language, it counts toward your plan limit (e.g. Growth allows 4 languages total). The back office is available in 6 languages: Italian, English, German, Spanish, French and Portuguese.
- Storefront: ar, de, el, en, es, fr, it, ja, ko, pl, pt, ru, tr, zh-CN
- Admin panel: en, it, de, es, fr, pt
- Each language gets a dedicated URL (/en, /it, /de, etc.) and its own sitemap for SEO
- RTL layout automatically enabled for Arabic
Assisted translation via AWS Translate
When you add a language, Veendo offers to translate your content (product names, descriptions, SEO meta) automatically via AWS Translate. You don't have to provide text in every language — the system does it for you. Of course you can manually edit any translation afterward.
Automatic translation is included in your plan based on allowed character count (Starter: no, Growth: 1,000 chars, Enterprise: 10,000 chars).
Markets and currencies
Each market (country or group of countries) has a default currency and tax category. When a customer accesses from a specific market, they see prices in local currency and the appropriate VAT or tax.
You can configure a "Default" market (e.g. Italy, EUR) and additional markets (e.g. Germany with EUR, UK with GBP). Prices update based on detected market (via geolocation or customer's manual selection).
Markets and currencies are managed from Setup → Store. Any change propagates instantly to storefront and catalog.
Step-by-step configuration
In the Setup Wizard, choose your default language (e.g. Italian). In the Store panel, add more languages up to your plan limit, and for each language choose the associated market (e.g. Italian → Italy, English → UK). Veendo creates separate URLs, sitemaps and pages for each language/market, all manageable from one console.
